ABOUT THE FABRICS
Wool is biodegradable, breathable and highly versatile.  
Wool products have long lifespans, meaning they are used or worn longer than other textile fibre products, these tend to be washed less frequently at lower temperatures which has a lower impact on the environment
Wool biodegrades readily on land and in water – as a protein-based fibre, wool does not contribute to microplastic pollutionI.
It is breathable and vesatile, suitable for both warm and cold weather garments (depending upon the thickness) and synthetic fibres cannot match the warming properties of this fibre.
Sheep are part of the natural carbon cycle, consuming the organic carbon stored in plants and converting it to wool. Fifty percent of the weight of wool is pure organic carbon.
Recycled polyester, also known as rPET, is obtained by melting down existing plastic and re-spinning it into new polyester fiber. By choosing recycled polyester fabrics, the same technical performance is achieved as other polyester fibers but leaving a lower environmental footprint.
The performance, durability and benefits, including the high strength and functional versatility of recycled polyester, are the same as those of traditional polyester, but with a lower environmental impact.
The production of recycled polyester is better for the weather, creating 75% less CO2 emissions than virgin polyester. Recycled polyester does not require the creation of new oil, which reduces the demand for oil extraction and reduces our ecological impact, and in addition, there is a post-consumer and post-industrial use.
Recycled polyester gives a second life to a material that’s not biodegradable and would otherwise end up in landfills or the ocean
